For this assignment we were tasked with three different tracking cases. For the first one we did a simple one point track, for the second we did a four corners track, and for the last one we did a camera tracking to place a logo on a building post-production.

I really enjoyed doing this assignment. I used to work with after effects in high school to do special effects like they have in the Marvel movies, and I did a lot of tracking with that so it was fun to relearn it and see what else it can be used for.

It really surprised me that it was so easy to track the things we were doing, I think the power of after effects makes it almost too easy. I also really liked doing the camera tracking and seeing how it could identify almost all the points in the raw footage, and then all the things we could do with that. I would like to look more into camera tracking I think.

I also enjoyed learning how to split my work up into compositions and then put it all together from there, I think I am generally a bit disorganized usually with my files and footage so it was nice to see how someone else organizes their work.
