For this assignment we had to use Photoshop and After effects to create a parallax effect using the characters Sherlock and John Watson.

I enjoyed learning more about photoshop in this assignment, especially using the generative fill function, the way it was able to create more of the background was super cool to watch, and I want to explore more with generative AI. It was also cool to learn how to cut out objects and make it look smooth.

I also enjoyed continuing learning about the camera in After Effects and the capabilities it has. Doing the pan was simple but making it with the parallax added a cool extra effect.

Sherlock is one of my favorite shows, so it was fun to make this 🙂
